How to Book

  • What does your holiday include?
    • Rental of the property and grounds
    • Bed linen and bath towels
    • Reasonable use of gas and electricity
    • Use of games and entertainment systems
  • What is excluded?
    • Wood for the fires, you can buy this at the supermarket
    • Swimming and beach towels, extraordinary cleaning; extraordinary electricity and gas usage
    • Bikes: You can pre book an excellent range of bikes from www.mellowvelos.com They are not far from Trausse and will deliver the fully insured bikes, plus helmets, directly to the house.
    • What time do you arrive and leave?
    • The property is available from 16.00 on your day of arrival and ends at 10.00 on your day of departure..
  • What do we do at the end of our stay?
    • Please leave the house tidy and in good condition.
    • Please put used linen in the wash room ready for the cleaning team to wash.
    • Please leave the house keys where you found them and return the gate key to us in the UK.
  • What is the deposit?
    • A deposit of €750 is payable to reserve the property, in addition we charge £250 for a Change Over Fee. £130 will be returned to you at the end of your holiday once the house key is returned to us and unless there are no further deductions required for breakages, damages, excess electricity/gas usage or extraordinary cleaning required.
  • Booking Procedure
    1. Please confirm the dates you want either by selecting them on the calendar or contact us by email or phone
    2. Email us the booking form.
    3. We will then send you bank details for you to transfer the Deposit of €750.
    4. Six (6) weeks before you start your holiday, please transfer the remaining amount (Final Payment) of your holiday AND a cheque for the Change Over Fee of £250 to our UK address.
    5. A gate key and welcome pack will be sent to you on receipt of the Final Payment and Change Over Fee.
    6. At the end of the holiday please return the keys to us and we will return £130 of your Change Over Fee less deductions required for things such as loss of the house key, breakages, damages, excess electricity/gas usage or extraordinary cleaning needed
  • How do we pay?
    • By bank transfer to our French bank account (see procedure above) for the Euro payments, and by sterling cheque (or bank transfer to our UK account) to us for the Change Over Fee.
  • Less Mobile Guests
    • Most of the facilities are on the ground floor, where it may be possible to make sleeping arrangements too. Please contact us to discuss this.
  • Do you offer stag/hen parties?
    • We do not take large single sex group bookings because we feel that it is not in keeping with the holiday home and village.
  • Is the property safe for children?
    • The property is safe for children, but it is large and there are lots of places to explore. We therefore ask you to make sure that you are aware of where your children are in the house and gardens at all times, and also that you only open the manual pool cover when there is a responsible adult in attendance.
