FAQ

  1. What does our holiday include?
    • Rental of the property and grounds.
    • Bed linen and towels. Use of games equipment, Kicker entertainment system, TV, DVDs and PS2.
  2. Is there anything excluded?
    • Wood for the fire and BBQ (payable locally).
  3. What time do we arrive and leave?
    • The property will be available from 16:00 on your day of arrival and end at 10:00am on your day of departure.
  4. What is the deposit?
    • €750 Deposit on booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before departure.
  5. How do we pay?
    • Euro bank transfer for accommodation and sterling cheque or bank transfer for change over fee. Please note that some banks may apply charges for euro/sterling payments
  6. Is the property safe for children?
    • Yes. The property very much welcomes children. We simply say, that with their natural curiosity, children should not be left unsupervised at any time during your stay, with extra care to be taken around the pool and the property. Parents/Guardians are responsible for children at all times.
    • As with most overseas properties, there are uneven stone floors in and outside, so we suggest this is pointed out to young ones at the start of your stay so they do not run and trip themselves up.
  7. Can we smoke?
    • We do not allow smoking anywhere in the house itself, or the grounds. We reserve the right to make a deduction from the Change Over Fee if we have to pick up cigarette ends at the property.
  8. Do you have a local point of contact?
    • We have an English speaking person available to answer queries regarding the house and the area. You will have a number to contact for any problems and we will arrange for somebody to deal with any issues.
  9. Are there Doctor/Dentist hospital contacts?
    • You will find these details in the information pack on arrival.
  10. Can we take pets?
    • Well behaved animals are welcome although clearing up after your pets is essential as is not allowing them on furniture.
  11. Does the house have bicycles?
    • We no longer provide bicycles but there is an excellent local firm where you can hire a comprehensive range of fully insured bikes (including tandems, and a variety of pull alongs for children), with helmets and maps. Please book directly with: http://www.mellowvelos.com/
  12. Is there an ironing board and iron?
    • Yes.
  13. What sort of travel plug adapters will I need?
    • We have adapter sockets throughout the house for UK electrical items, you may wish to bring your own adapters.
